Human Resource Assistant The Company is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to provide a full range of hands-on support services to staff in the recruitment process and benefits administration.
Additionally, the Human Resource Assistant will work on a variety of matters related to onboarding and offboarding employees, employee relations, employee safety and administrative support.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Prepare offer letters and onboard new employees ensuring all forms are completed timely and in compliance with legal requirements, and all associated systems are updated.
Maintain accurate and organized human resource information records and systems.
Investigate accidents and prepare incident reports, claims, and follow up as required by insurance carrier and OSHA, EPA, etc.
Responsible for updating indeed postings for job openings.
Manage insurance enrollment monthly for new employees eligible for benefits.
Research and resolve any questions or issues for health, dental and 401k plans.
Administer all aspects of Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) requests, including required notices and certification forms, leave tracking, and return-to-work status, guide and support employees on policies associated with FMLA.
Processing incoming mail for unemployment, disability, or other HR matters General employee relations and serve as translator as required.
Performing other duties or projects as assigned by senior management.
Collaborating with management to recruit based on labor needs.
Requirements:
Working knowledge in the HR areas of recruiting, benefits, and employment law Solid understanding of MS Office Suite High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential matters.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Ability to speak Spanish fluently required, Cantonese is a plus.
Education:
Minimum some college course work in Business, Human Resources, or other related discipline.
Minimum one year experience working in the human resources field; or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
