GIS Specialist
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Develop and update the organization's Real Property Master Plan in order to synchronize its long-range planning goals with newly developed initiatives that enhance mission readiness.
Plan, develop, and review military construction (MILCON) projects of significant complexity and scope.
Analyze and interpret space authorizations and requirements for existing and future unit stationing actions.
Coordinate planning projects with USAR stakeholders, state agencies, & federal agencies to accomplish milestones and goals relating to MILCON projects.
Conduct site visits to inspect facility conditions and to adjust plans and projects to reflect ground truth.
Attend planning workshops and events.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree or applicable experience in Geography, Military planning, Master Planning, Community Planning, Urban & Regional planning, Land Use Planning, Environmental Planning, Infrastructure Planning, or a related field.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products.
Must have good oral and written communication skills.
