Summary:
Nisga'a is looking for an Air Advisor Instructor Course / Mobility Support Advisor Squadron (MSAS) Instructor.
Essential Job Functions:

Provide instruction and evaluations to students on security cooperation concepts including authorities, command relationships, mission planning, execution, and reporting Meet minimum USAF EC Student and Qualified Instructor requirements at government expense and IAW EC-established policy and this PWS (Appendix C-Publications and para https:

Serve as the focal point and SME in their respective discipline.

When qualified, be prepared to assist and teach lessons in other disciplines as determined by the Site Manager Provide technical support, planning, consultation, analysis and expert advice to establish, maintain, and improve their respective areas instruction Develop, update, revise, and deliver their respective areas curriculum and courseware within USAF EOS-established policy Ensure the most current student education and training materials are used and are provided to each student at the beginning of each lesson, as required Produce, assemble, and manage student materials as required to include paper and/or electronic (DVDs, etc.
) based training materials provided by the Government Prepare classroom for instruction and ensure academic equipment, projectors, televisions, computer learning stations, etc.
, including uploading of computer-based training, if applicable, are functional Begin each lesson on time and teach for the prescribed amount of time IAW the student schedule unless the COR authorizes a schedule deviation Perform instruction/demonstration and student evaluations as required by the syllabi and Plan of Instruction (POI).

Maintain satisfactory or above on Government administered instructor evaluations Review learning objectives with students in preparation for examinations Follows USAF EC-established policy for make-up/remedial instruction for missed classes or failed examinations Attend meetings, conferences, and symposiums on topics related to their area of expertise and participate in instructor professional development Be prepared to teach lessons as directed by the Site Manager to balance instructor workload and to meet mission requirements (see Appendix B Summary of Air Advisor Academic Courses) Provide instruction on teaching methodology relative to a cross-cultural environment Shall teach subjects such as, but not limited to Command Relationships, Risk Management, Security Cooperation, Funding and Legal Authorities, Force Protection Mindset, History of AMC GPF Advising, Theater-Specific Dynamics / US Foreign Policy, Mission Planning and Coordination, and US Embassy Operations, Personalizing Lesson Plans, Using Training Aids Effectively, Effective Presentation Skills, and Maintaining Control in the Classroom Shall review student lesson plans, analyze student instructors delivery skills, and provide effective feedback Shall provide course support to include curriculum development/management, course scheduling and administration
Shall coordinate and facilitate for Government-provided guest instructors as required
Shall monitor student progress through computer-based training programs and coordinate technical support as required Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

Deployed as a MSAS Mission Commander / Team Sergeant, Military Advisor, Political-Military (Pol-Mil) Affairs Strategists (PAS) Officer, Regional Affairs Strategists (RAS) Officer, Foreign Area Officer (FAO), Foreign Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT) member, attach or security assistance officer (SCO), or in a position equivalent to one of the above having military advisory experience Experience in instructor development methods and delivering instruction through computer-based training Completed Air Command and Staff College, Senior NCO Academy or sister service school equivalent, in-residence or by correspondence
Must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance Minimum

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
