Experience:
Knowledge of basic math and bookkeeping, Accounts Payable a plus.
Desired skills:
Ability to acquire Purchase Orders, pay invoices, track Federal Grant Budget, prepare reports and be able to create spreadsheets.
Job Duties in brief:
Proficient with personal computers in a windows environment including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and Publisher.
Working knowledge of office practices, proper grammar, spelling and punctuation, and basic arithmetic and spreadsheets.
Ability to manage phone system and learn voicemail.
Ability to take clear, concise messages.
Ability to operate standard office equipment (fax, copier, printer).
Ability to maintain filing systems.
Knowledge of office/program support activities.
Specific knowledge of work unit programs and activities.
Knowledge of basic math and bookkeeping, Accounts Payable a plus, telephone procedures, and standard business communication.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
