6K a year The Sales Representative / Customer Support Specialist employee is primarily responsible to support the daily Sales and Marketing activities of the Hutchinson Industries, Inc.
He or she will assist customers and all departments (Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Purchasing, and Production) in completing tasks necessary to make the operation run smoothly and promote Hutchinson's products and services to the customer.
Specific Duties Follow all applicable environmental, health and safety rules and procedures and immediately report all dangerous situations, near-misses, and injuries.
Support the Sales and Marketing staff as required.
Support and manage new and existing customer accounts as assigned by management.
Partner with the Sales Team to maintain positive customer relationships.
Assist in orienting customers with product information, pricing order status, and new contract opportunities.
Accurately process internal and external customer transactions such as orders, solicitations, and quotes.
Serve as the contact point when required.
Work closely with production to ensure that all order are shipped to the customer on time.
Communicate with logistics, production, engineering, accounting, and purchasing departments to obtain prices and lead times for new and existing customer orders.
Follow up with internal departments to gain timely responses to customers.
Follow up on incoming questions, inquiries via phone, email or teleconference.
Proactively execute communications and meetings with customers to keep them informed of quote and order status and to determine customer issues and needs.
Work overtime as required.
