virtual Duties/Responsibilities This role acts as the liaison between end users and vendor to implement a new, statewide Homeless Case Management System for the New Jersey Department of Education.
Rolling out a new data collection system is a large undertaking, requiring the training and support of district personnel from all LEAs.
A highly qualified candidate for this position will:
Track outreach efforts with District Liaisons.
Analyze federal and state laws and regulations regarding tracking students experiencing homelessness.
Produce guidance documents to help LEAs use the Homeless Case Management data system, including a data management handbook (in consultation with the technical implementation specialist) and an FAQ document.
Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written) to provide technical assistance to District Homeless Liaisons and other LEA personnel as they learn how to access and use the Homeless Case Management data system.
