We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Real Estate Manager to join our team in the energy industryThis role is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the future of renewable energyThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing all real estate activities related to our solar and renewable energy projectsThis includes site identification, lease negotiation, due diligence, title clearance, and managing real estate transactionsThis role requires a strategic thinker with strong project management skills and a deep understanding of land use and real estate transactions.
Responsibilities:
Lead all real estate activities related to renewable energy projects, including site identification, lease negotiation, and real estate transactions. Conduct survey analysis to identify potential sites for renewable energy projects. Manage title clearance processes to ensure all legal and contractual issues are resolved prior to project initiation. Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure real estate activities align with project timelines and objectives. Oversee land use planning and permitting processes, working closely with local authorities and stakeholders. Develop and maintain strong relationships with landowners, local communities, and other stakeholders. Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes related to real estate and land use in the renewable energy sector. Collaborate with legal and financial teams to manage risks and ensure compliance with all contractual and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, or related fieldA Master's degree or equivalent professional qualification is preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in real estate management, preferably in the energy or renewable energy sector. Proven experience in project management, with a strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. Strong knowledge of land use planning and real estate transactions. Experience in title clearing and survey analysis. Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions based on data and business considerations. Knowledge of renewable energy markets and technologies, particularly solar, is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to a variety of audiences. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
