UC Consulting Architect Overview: A highly creative individual to consult with Clients and Sales Teams to identify and document both short- and long-term business needs, develop use cases, and architect the most cost effective, technically sound, and relevant customer solution using the SPS portfolio of Unified Communications products and
. The UC Solution Architect must effectively present solutions to clients to gain buy- in and drive sales. Responsibilities: Fundamental responsibilities will include:- Drive and deliver UC consulting engagement margin targets as defined by the business plan. - Drive Microsoft implementation margin targets as defined by the business plan. - Maintain a customer satisfaction rating of 9.0 or better. - Work with the team to collaboratively develop training topics and content for internal staff on relevant UC and business process topics (Sales Engineering, Implementation, and Operations), assessed based on the feedback of trainees and the evaluation of the Director. - Develop Vision, Strategy and Roadmaps deliverables to meet technical solutions - Participate in account relationship and issue management activities Qualifications: Education: B.S./B.A./M.S. degree or equivalent technical training Experience: 7 years of experience in a technical role, preferably in pre-sales or solution delivery Technical Competencies:- In depth understanding of Unified Communications, Collaboration, and Converged Infrastructure marketplace and trends.- Ability to recognize and develop new opportunities within their accounts for multiple solution areas and work with the account team to propose new solutions.- Ability to thoroughly discuss multi-vendor environments and have some experience in configuring multi-vendor solutions.- Knowledgeable about the Microsoft, Avaya, and Cisco UC portfolios with specific expertise in at least one recognized industry subject matter areas.- Technical certifications from Microsoft highly recommended.- Additional certifications from Avaya, Polycom, Extreme Networks, Juniper Networks or Cisco preferred. Personal Competencies:- Demonstrate perceptiveness - identify gaps and opportunities in customer accounts.- Adept at developing relationships with key decision makers on accounts.- Demonstrate initiative and leadership in filling the gaps to drive margin growth in a team-oriented environment.- Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving abilities.- Strong presentation skills to speak to large audiences of technical and managerial audiences.- Ability to use Word, PowerPoint, and Visio to articulate solutions.- The ability to manage multiple issues simultaneously.- The ability to work independently with minimum supervision.- The ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-service oriented setting.- Superior organization and time-management skills.- Intellectual curiosity and the desire to keep up with new aspects of the business and technology. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
