Vintage RCA tube amplifier & Chicago Standard Transformer for sale in Trenton, NJ
If you are looking at this listing, you already know more than I do about these. I have another set of these that are almost identical. These were built in the 1950's by Joseph Zenel who worked as an engineer for Sarnoff Research Labs in Princeton. I purchased these from his estate years ago. Further information regarding Mr. Zenel can be accessed on Google. These were set up and powered sound through the whole house. After I purchased them, I had them tested and I was told they are operational. Also, they were still hooked up when I purchased them originally. That being said, they are being sold for parts only as I can't guarantee them. So what you have is two pieces. One housing two large Chicago Transformers and extremely heavy. One Chicago Transformer, the larger on is stamped on top PCC-150. On this pad, there are also two 10 MFU 600 WVDC units along with a tube. On the other deck or pad, there is Peerless Altec Landsing Corporation Transformer that is marked S-265-Q ) along with tubes and some other pieces. The tubes are RCA mostly and one is Realistic and another is Philco. I have the original connecting wire as well. I am hoping these can be picked up and I can also deliver within a 200 mile radius for a fee. If they can't be picked up, please advise me how to ship them and I will be happy to comply. As I stated earlier, I have another set of these. I am assuming this is for one channel and the other set for an additional to make stereo. Please ask any and all questions before bidding as I do not accept returns on electronics. I am setting a high shipping price and I will fully refund and difference. I am having these professionally packed and shipped. I do NOT make a profit on shipping. Offered with no reserve. Thank you and good luck.
