I buy/sell/collect electronics as a hobby and I enjoy testing, and playing with them. I will always will disclose any issues with my items unlike some sellers that give no description and/or only 2 fuzzy pictures. I also offer my 30day warranty on this item. Here we have REAL nice Technics EQ. It's in perfect like new condition. No flaws at all. Not even dusty! It's been fully tested. All lights working. Good looking brushed finish too! It also comes with it's user manual and all paperwork it came with PLEASE READ THIS before you decide to purchase. This is a 12 band EQ which has extended range over other EQ's that might be 6, or 8 band. Your age will have a lot to do with how this modifies your music. Just to expand on that, I'm a senior with a lot of loud music history behind me. I've always had good equipment and liked it loud. That fact paired with my age, my ears are not the same as they used to be. If you out of your 20's, your ears will have stated to gradually loose some of their frequency range. It's a natural occurrence . To put that into perspective, I'm 68 and and when I test this EQ (as well as any 12 band EQ), I can not hear any change in the top two bands and only the lower half of the 3rd treble band, as well as 1 or 2 of the lower bands. THIS DOES NOT MEAN THOSE BANDS ARE NOT WORKING. I JUST CAN'T HEAR THEM To assure I was correct, I had my 35yr old son listen, and he can hear a difference in all but the top 16kHz band This unit has a frequency range of 16Hz- 32Kz. Most of the cheaper EQ's ranges stop at 8 or 16kHz. There are a couple of simple, but effective hearing tests on Utube that I would strongly advise you check out if you want to see for yourself to understand what I'm talking about. Use a good pair of headphones for the test. They involve a changing test tone that starts at the low end and finishes in the high end, and that will tell you what your range is. When you start hearing the tone write that down, and when you stop hearing the tone, write that down and that's where your ears range ends. I forget what my low end range was, but my high end range was only 6-7kHZ. A far cry from 32kHz You may find that you might be able to get away with a cheaper 6 or 8 band EQ I've taken the time to explain this to make sure that if you do buy this unit, it will not be returnable for the reason of of what i've explained above about the frequency bands and your possible hearing loss. If you do purchase, I will contact you to make sure you read this before I ship it. Sorry to do this, but I've had a unit returned for this reason where there nothing wrong with it.
